Venus Arm Casting Powder – Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

🌟 What are the exact ingredients of Venus Arm Casting Powder?

Venus arm casting powder consists of 99.5% natural gypsum and 0.5% water – completely additive-free! 🌿
Therefore, it is also suitable for children.

🛡️ We still recommend wearing a mask and gloves while working to avoid inhaling dust and protect your hands. This way, you can work safely and with confidence!

🔥 Is the Venus arm casting powder fireproof?

Our Venus arm casting powder is not highly flammable and therefore ideal for candle holders.

💧 Are workpieces made of Venusarm casting powder waterproof?

No, casting powder is not naturally waterproof, as it absorbs moisture and can become brittle or soft over time. A clear coat (whether spray, matte, or food-safe) can protect the surface and repel water. However, since these coats are applied manually and not baked, 100% water resistance cannot be guaranteed.

🌧️ Are workpieces made of Venusarm casting powder weatherproof?

Cast objects made from Venusarm casting powder are only partially weatherproof. Although they can withstand frost and heat, the surface can be damaged by persistent rain. The object can also accumulate dirt and moss. A clear varnish (whether spray, matte, or food-safe) provides additional protection and can increase weather resistance, making the material more resistant to external influences. However, since these varnishes are applied by hand and not baked, we cannot guarantee 100% weather resistance.
